UAW? Crickets

Slavery is Part of China, Inc’s Business Model; Slaves Were Even Brought to Brazil for a Chinese EV Plant
—Buck Throckmorton

Slavery is thriving in Chinese manufacturing, both in China proper, and at Chinese plants built in other countries. “Free traders” and others who blanch at the thought of corporations paying any labor expense have green-lit the aggressive renaissance of chattel labor in the 21st century. They are willfully blind to slave labor being the linchpin of the “China, Inc.” business model, because it gets labor expense as close to $0 as possible.

Meanwhile, libertarians and free traders say it’s all cool because consumers get lower prices. While I like to mock their buzzphrase “Tariffs are a tax on consumers,” they have effectively adopted a corollary phrase, “Abolishing slavery is a tax on consumers.” Sen. James Hammond of South Carolina made pretty much that exact argument in the 1850s when defending slavery in America.

The embrace of 21st century slavery as part of the globalist economic system is an abomination that I keep returning to, because slavery is as offensive now as it was 165 years ago. In a recent piece at The American Spectator titled “The War on Labor Expense is Renormalizing Slavery, Just in a 21st Century Form” I wrote, “So, despite America’s hangover from 19th-century slavery, many 21st-century libertarians still condone its practice overseas. If this type of slave labor offends our sensibilities when it occurs in Georgia, why is it acceptable for manufacturing that is outsourced to China to use the same labor system? The acceptance of slave labor anywhere in our supply chain makes the domestic acceptance of slavery possible.”

The Washington Post performed some important journalism recently in covering the horror of slaves being brought from China to the Americas to work at an electric vehicle plant in Brazil. It’s important to remember that if Chinese companies are brazen enough to use slave labor on foreign soil, think about how pernicious the use of slave labor is in China itself.

As weeks passed, Oliveira’s curiosity deepened. [The 56 Chinese laborers’] food was prepared in an improvAs ised kitchen in the garage, amid industrial detritus and vermin, and they never seemed to do anything for fun. All they did was work. “Seven days a week,” Oliveira, 35, recalled. “Sunday to Sunday. I never saw any one taking a day off.” They departed every morning at dawn and didn’t return until dusk. The hours in between were spent helping to build Latin America’s largest electric car factory for the world’s biggest electric automaker, China’s BYD.

Brazil welcomed the BYD electric vehicle operation because the intent was to provide manufacturing jobs for Brazilians. The intent was not to bring in foreign labor, and certainly not to import slaves. Perhaps because Brazil was the last country in the Americas to abolish slavery (in 1888) it is very sensitive to those trying to find a workaround to bring it back. When word of slavery being used at the factory filtered up, the government investigated. It found hungry Chinese nationals living in squalor, and working all-day, seven days a week.
Chinese men were inhabiting practically every square inch. Most slept without mattresses. Trash lay everywhere. Food was stored on the ground. In one of the buildings, 31 laborers shared a single bathroom; it was coated with an “excess of sludge,” government inspectors reported. This went far beyond labor violations, the inspectors concluded. The workers enlisted by BYD to build its keystone factory in the Americas had been forced, they wrote, into conditions that recalled slavery.

Work will make you free

Much like sex traffickers luring girls into prostitution with promises of a modeling career, BYD and its subcontractors lured poor Chinese men into slavery by promising them a high-paying, overseas job. Once in Brazil, their passports were confiscated, and the promised pay was withheld. Armed security patrolled their sleeping spaces to ensure they couldn’t escape.

As is often the case with modern-day slavery, there are layers of contractors and sub-contractors to muddy the issue of whom the slaves work for, and who is accountable.

But instead, BYD turned to a Rolodex of Chinese construction firms. The list included its longtime business partner, Jinjiang Construction Group, which BYD had hired more than a dozen times since 2017 to help build electric car plants, renewable battery factories and BYD monorails in dozens of locations across China, according to statements from both companies and Chinese state media.

Laborers in China have sued Jinjiang repeatedly, court records show, alleging unsafe working conditions and unpaid wages. Many have lost, not because they couldn’t produce evidence — but because they couldn’t prove they worked for Jinjiang. The use of nebulous subcontractors is common across China’s construction industry, labor advocates say, shielding businesses from accountability.

Jinjiang argued that the situation in Brazil was due to “cultural differences,” and it put out a statement reading, “The claims that Jinjiang’s workers were treated as ‘slaves’ and were ‘rescued’ are completely inconsistent with the facts.”

The same opaque system of “employment” was used by BYD and Jinjiang in Hungary.
“Many workers don’t even know who their legal employer is,” said Li Qiang, founder of the New York-based nonprofit China Labor Watch. His team recently interviewed 50 Jinjiang laborers working on the BYD factory in Hungary. In a letter to local authorities shared with The Post, the organization alleged “clear indicators of forced labor,” including 12-hour workdays and granting rest only when it rained.

Subcontracted slavery is still slavery. All the politicians, free traders, and EV fanboys who are excited about the promise of cheap Chinese EVs taking over the global auto market need to understand that they are active participants in the re-normalization of “the peculiar institution.”

Slavery is clearly not considered a problem in China. It’s policy. Slavery is a fundamental component of the business model for Chinese manufacturing. Those “free traders” who advocate for the use of Chinese manufacturing in the American supply chain are arguing in favor of slavery just as emphatically as John Calhoun or any other southern politician did in the antebellum era.

Hello, Slave

The Modern Slave
By Josh Stylman July 31, 2025

“The best way to keep a prisoner from escaping is to make sure he never knows he’s in prison.”
—Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Most people hear ‘modern slavery’ and picture trafficking victims or sweatshop workers—suffering that’s clearly visible, obviously wrong, and comfortably distant from their daily lives. What if the most effective slavery in history isn’t hidden—but public, celebrated, and defended by the very people it enslaves?

...The genius of contemporary slavery isn’t the whip, it’s the W-2. It’s not the chain, it’s the mortgage payment. It’s not the overseer with a gun, it’s the IRS agent with a lien.

...The modern slave doesn’t just surrender their labor—they surrender their cells. Your nervous system is being mapped for networking. Your DNA is being collected, stored, and potentially auctioned in bankruptcy proceedings.

... The slavery of the developed world operates through what we might call the ‘white glove model’—polished, comfortable, and marketed as benefit rather than bondage. Traditional slaves are told they’re property; modern slaves are told they’re customers. Traditional slaves are controlled through fear; modern slaves through convenience. Traditional slaves are kept ignorant; modern slaves are overwhelmed with curated information that shapes their conclusions.

... The financial enslavement operates through debt that can never be repaid because the ‘money’ used to pay it is itself debt. Federal Reserve notes aren’t currency—they’re IOUs in a system where every dollar represents an obligation to private banks. You’re trying to pay off debt with debt instruments, which is mathematically impossible.

... Perhaps most brilliantly, the system has convinced its slaves to fight each other instead of recognizing their shared bondage.

Same Old Shit

St. Curly the Baptist

SLAVERY. IT'S EVERYWHERE.

I'll never cut my hair. A Curly Howard/Sgt Slaughter style is the sign of a slave. In the Roman Republic, a shorn man designated a slave to the House he belonged to. Who knows? maybe it was a comfortable relationship with no whips or chains. Maybe today the slave may have been considered an 'employee' or 'you do things for me and food and housing is guaranteed for you and your family'. How many people go to work in a uniform? How many wage-slaves are in the House of Burger King?

Big Daddy Pullman - come out of that grave! The Commies fucked up a good thing!

Food, housing and health are three things a government can't guarantee. I refer to the 1996 New South African Constitution and their housing promises to 'the people'. Not even close to completion. SAficans still sleep in the rain. Governments put many wanna-be slaves in the military in order to stop bullets and bomb hospitals and schools. The first act perpetuated on the conscript is to cut off all their hair. Individuality crumbles and group think begins. When the government with corporate agents puts all their slaves to work without adequate housing and food True Slavery begins. Hawks Nest train tunnel 1917 West Virginia, USA, for example. Forced labor, mass graves, same script worldwide for all recorded history. Isn't the message of the Trump Shot Plandemic 'We want you dead', not healthy. There is no money in healthy. That's my opinion.

Few seem to have the strength for individuality. People seem to have the backbone of a chocolate éclair. They express individuality easy enough by everyone coloring their hair blue, green or orange. Being a Cool Kid is a high school desire never fulfilled chasing the group think. American society is a beautiful example of stunted development similar to the Labrador breed of dog; takes orders well, looking for work, there to be told what to do, comfort in the pack, hates to be left alone. Slaves to their neuroses, attainment of who one is is defined by the people on Facebook or where one works. Confidence and purpose fueled by inner peace is scarce in this society. Solidarity even less. All seem to be chasing the shiny thing adoring nostalgia, images, fallacies and dead matter.

My long hair says I don't wish to be a slave to anybody or anything. The only person that is going to tell me what to do is going to say,
"Tiger! Run!". Everything said to me is a suggestion. Every 'supps'da', 'you have to', 'should', 'gotta' coming in my direction is a waste of oxygen. Every decision I make in my life I am responsible.

... and with that attitude I'll receive a midnight ride to the re-education camp, if I make it that far.

RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED

I Don't See It #1

I DON'T SEE IT #1

SLAVERY

1) Any major sport holds a draft, a slave auction. Scouts, agents of the buyer, inspect their teeth, measure their strength and agility. The Owners buy them in order. Every year. Take them to the corporate plantation. They sell them and trade them.

2) Accepting a belief system or religion does not oblige you to build mansions for Hollywood stars, a la Scientology.

3) Any chemical addiction is slavery. The makers have distributors and they rule over you.

4) A bitch boy on the end of an invisible leash held by an abusive woman is a sad sight to see.

5) Foster parents adopt indentured servants.

6) The Apple iPhone is made in Communist China by FoxComm workers living in FoxComm housing and shopping at the FoxComm company store. The Chinese lithium miners supplying for EV Prius batteries sleep in silk sheets.

7) Any diamond in it's above ground state.is connected to slavery in it's below ground state..

8) The common political hack State worker is indebted to his 'Chinaman' and shares his wage or loses his do-nothing job.

9) Prisoners were written out of the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery as the farm workers have a special set of labor laws and regulations.

10) If the realm you live is formed by lies, imagination, and opinion you are manipulated and serve another's' agenda.

11) Joining the military you voluntarily become a slave, even being ordered to kill or die by firing squad, not 50 lashes for trying to escape.

Present Day America

In a 1947 publication approved by Cardinal Spellman of New York, Rituale Romanum, the anti-hate issue was early put into proper perspective:

"The long-range effects of this campaign [to criminalize selected hatreds] are even now evident. It is producing the 'spineless citizen,' the man who has no cultural sensibilities, who is incapable of indignation, who faces moral disaster, political disaster, and impending world catastrophe with a blank and smiling countenance. He has only understanding for the enemies of his country, nothing but kind sentiments for those who would destroy his home and family. He is universally tolerant, totally unprejudiced. If he has any principles he keeps them well concealed. He is a faceless, characterless puttyman."

4) I have not seen or heard a statement about present social insanity from any labor body representing working people.

5) A message to the young: Learn to chop wood and haul water or die at the hands of the Government  (prison, Army, welfare lines, mandatory vaccination).

1) Healthy people who don't even try to feed, clothe or house themselves with work don't get my respect.

2) It's amazing to me how these phony revolutionaries believe everything the government tells them.

3) Slavery ended because the slaves weren't working.  The present wage slaves aren't working and this society is ending.

4) Great things are accomplished with great sacrifice.

5) One creates opportunity.  If it is handed to you, it has strings.

6) Not a single arrest for all the rioting and looting? Isn't anyone else suspicious?

7) Many of these black loud-mouthed professional athletes were given State scholarships to State schools.  Have you heard of one that repaid his back tuition?  Don't graduate.  Then they go to a "draft", a modern day slave auction.  They land a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract and carry the burden of slavery for their oppressed Brothers and Sisters with their Twitter feed.

8) Corporate funded riots sounds like insurance fraud.

9) The government doesn't have any money.  Good leaders do not borrow money.

10) 1999 WTO Seattle was to mark the death of Bolshevik trade unionism and the rise of Mao based street fighting in Communist tactics.

Islam... 06 Slave Trade

Informative and well worth the read.
The Other Inconvenient Truth: The Arab Slave Trade
By Victor Sharpe

... Traveling back in time, we must acknowledge the abiding horror of the slavery practiced by Muslims upon hapless black Africans – a searing crime which existed from Islam’s founding in the 7th century.

While the anti-slavery abolitionist movements in Europe and North America began their epic movement to end slavery during the 19th century, there was barely any opposition to slavery as practiced within Islam. While abolitionist movements in Europe and North America were gaining steam, slavery continued throughout the Muslim world.

.... It must be remembered that during the cataclysmic American Civil War, some 330,000 white American soldiers alone gave their lives to end the enslavement of black Americans.

... In tragic contrast, the Islamic societies—rooted in concepts of supremacy, submission, and sacrificing one’s life and the lives of others to the glory of the jihad struggle—had barely any opposition to slavery, which continued apace throughout the world of Islam.

... It is particularly sad that so many African Americans routinely espouse Islam and take Arab names while ignoring or being utterly ignorant of the Muslim Arab slave trade; even though it led to the deaths and slavery of untold millions of Africans.

Even after Britain outlawed the slave trade in 1807 and Europe abolished the slave trade in 1815, Muslim slavers continued their ghastly trade and enslaved millions of Africans. Throughout African villages the ever -present threat of approaching Arab slave traders sent terror into the hearts of men, women and children.

Possibly as many as eleven million Africans were transported across the Atlantic. Some 95% went to South and Central America, mainly to Portuguese, Spanish, and French possessions, and 5% of the slaves went to the United States.

IN AMERICA THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF POLITICAL ‘THINKERS’ DO NOT EVEN RECOGNIZE ISLAM AS A POLITICAL AND IDEOLOGICAL FORCE AND TOO MANY FELLOW AMERICANS THUS SLIDE INTO DANGEROUS IGNORANCE AND APATHY, WHILE ISLAMIC SHARIA LAW INCREASINGLY INFILTRATES OUR REPUBLIC AND SUBVERTS THE CONSTITUTION.

UnSpun 179 – Dr. Bill Warner: “Political Islam”

*****************************

Islam's Hidden Role in the Transatlantic Slave Trade

As John Alembillah Azumah, an African academic and author of The Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa, said in an interview:

Slavery was a very important part of Islamic expansion in West Africa, and in fact in the Sudan, and from the very earliest period of Islamic penetration of Africa. ... Slavery was a very endemic part of Islamic interaction with Africa. And in West Africa, the jihad's period of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries involved massive slave raiding and slave trading; and many of the slaves that were captured and sold and sent to the transatlantic slave trade [were captured by Muslims]; most of those who were doing the slaving at the time were Muslim communities.

Historic Slavery

Time to Set the Record Straight on Slavery

...A look into the past is instructive. According to Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, 12.5 million African slaves were shipped to the New World between 1525 and 1866, and 10.7 million (about 86 percent) survived the trip. Of these, only 450,000 (about 4 percent of the total) were sent to America. The rest were shipped to South America and the Caribbean. Brazil alone received 4.9 million. Why are there no calls for reparations in Brazil? And the black slave trade to the West pales in comparison to the white and black slave trade conducted by Muslim nations of Africa and the Middle East in its barbarity and numbers.

...The much larger and infinitely more barbaric Muslim slave trade began in about 711, capturing both whites and blacks in numbers much higher than those taken by the West, and Muslim slave-traders provided over 80 percent of those black slaves sold to the West. Of the slaves captured by Muslims for their own use, 80 to 90 percent died on the way to market. Of those shipped to North Africa for sale to Western slavers, about 30–50 percent died en route. Males slated for Muslim markets were castrated. Only 25 percent survived the operation. Their descendants in those nations are much smaller in number because most male African slaves were used as eunuchs and worked to death. Estimates of total black enslavement in Muslim nations range from 11 million to 32 million. Given the high mortality rate of capture and transport, the impact on black African tribes must have been genocidal.

... But slavery has not been abolished. Mauritania, the last nation to publicly condone slavery, officially outlawed it finally in 2007. However, the truth is that slavery in Mauritania is alive and well, with as much as 10–20 percent of the population (340,000 to 680,000) in bondage. Algeria (106,000), Sudan (35,000 or more), Libya (48,000), and certain other nations still practice slavery.

Famous black Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan excoriates America for our history of slavery, but despite repeated calls to take action against Muslim nations that continue to enslave both black and white, Farrakhan has remained totally silent, as have Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton — despite Sharpton witnessing slavery in Sudan firsthand. Former President Obama, seen in a recently discovered 2005 photo with Louis Farrakhan, hasn't made a peep. Why not?

Where are the complaints over Middle East and African slave trading that continued legally until 2007, and still continues illegally in that part of the world? Where are the hooded Antifa goons, smashing windows and heads and firebombing autos and buildings in protest of "Islamic supremacy" and "Muslim nationalism"?

Going Postal II*

I'm not sure if the shooting in Virginia Beach yesterday was another round of bullshit, but it was reported as done by a disgruntled worker, similar to the shooting in Aurora, IL in February.
This is a republish from January 20, 2009 from EWS.

A must read for any workplace stressed out person in this Century of Despair. The last two decades changed the American minds, capturing and corporatizing it, giving management perspective to any problems confronted. A very usatisfying life for the sensitive, thinking person results if on the plantation, in the workplace or high school grind.

Mark Ames makes a compelling case that shooting rampages in the workplace or schoolyard are analogous to slave rebellions in early American history. Slaves didn't normally revolt, and when they did, they did not get the sympathy of their fellow slaves. Everyone was about maintaining the status quo, screaming about the injustice of it all only makes one mentally ill and harshly dealt with. Now on the moral high round, this society holds John Brown or Nat Turner as heroes, but in their day they were hearing voices in their heads, seeing visions, and planning attacks on "innocent" citizens to call for righting a human wrong. What seems abhorrant to shocked Middle America, the popular status of school shooters like Harris or Klebold or Anorexic Andy or a giddy laugh about postal workers' rage attacks defies the accepted myths of the current culture that we live in the"land of the free." Some people do get it - it's not the sick people doing the awful deeds, it's the sick conditions of the workplace and the schol systems that drive them to act in such an awful manner.

This book begins in the Reagan Revolution - a revolution of the mind that place durring the 80's. Destroying unions to help working people. Attempting to eliminate the Dept of Education to help students. Social services are unneeded as only the undeserrving get it. Turn your head to the homeless, don't care, just don't look into their eyes. War is Peace. Ignorance is Strength, etc. 1984 did arrive right on time and the descriptive background of Orwell is present in the world today. Before going forward with this plan, first it was essential to remove deeply held human components, like compassion and peace, and replace them with competition and stress. This was heralded as the correct way to think and any other expressions were to be degraded, dismissed and devalued, as kindness usually doesn't lead to money. Money being the only reason to exist according to this new world order. Having concern for those of disadvataged means, advocating for human rights, crying for the innocent and injured of the warfare state makes one perceived as mentally ill, not as someone living in a sick society. The state will punish such actions that arise from human compassion ruthlessly, no matter how innocent or inconvenient. This is the Reagan Doctrine.

Parents on the hampster wheel of providing a good home and a good school for their children bring their overworked stress to their already overstressed children, put into a pressure cooker of test grades and college admissions. Striving to get ahead while resources are disappearing in this country, combined with the philisophical fog of "personal responsibility" concerning all choices in ones' life, has created a perculating internalized rage within its' population. Seeking to help people is considered a foolish career move. Cheating in school tests are all too common, as is the parents' careers in finance, real estate and most occupations. The stress is passed, the cycle continues, and the disspirited citizen carries the weight until he or she cracks, feeding the pharmacutical industry and dying slowly inside.

I melted down. I couldn't take it anymore. This book went a long way to explain why the external world seems so harsh and unlivable in this country today. I don't want to cooperate in promoting these crushing concepts put forth as "normal". The structures are corrupt because the personal relationships are corrupt. We see each other as marks, as someone to gain an advantage from. It's deeply ingrained now and the newest generation has no other framework to compare. "Me First" makes perfect sense right from the womb and where exactly can they see another example? I've dropped out because I feel so unwelcome wherever I go, especially the workplace. I want to work in a cooperative manner, live in a cooperative home situation, and surrounded by kind people in my social life. I believe if I wait long enough in my lotus position, all these wishes will come to pass.  Reagan be damned.

Kanye, Kanye

Slavery is the alignment of will with your master. Alignment of will is not having independent thought.

400 years? Are you 400 years old?

Are you telling me that you are still being whipped?

Are you telling me that you don't have a choice of what to do with your mind and body?

Are you telling me that you don't have the ability to learn a skill? To improve yourself?

Are you telling me that you want to keep getting a welfare check?

Are you telling me that a stare by a white cracker is slowing you down?

Are you telling me that you feel intimidated by people with white skin?

Are you telling me that words limit you?

What threats and marginalization are you dealing with from past slavery?

Why have those threats and marginalizations not affected Kanye West like they have affected you? What about all the black inventors, actors, actresses, business owners, coworkers, musicians, doctors, nurses, engineers, technicians, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, etc? How have they dealt with those threats and marginalizations?

Now, ask me if we are all being enslaved by banksters? If banksters happen to be mostly white, does that mean all whites are parasites?

All skin colors, religions, have suffered at some point in the past, and maybe even still today. Does that mean that we should all wear armor and oppose interactions with other skin colors, religions? Are ALL MEMBERS of other skin colors and religions enemies?

Every other skin color and religion have assholes among them, but not every member is an asshole to you.
