In other words, if you want government, you _must_ have wars. The 2 go together like a "love and marriage", and a "horse and carriage", as Sinatra observed.
Because the state is their religion, most people ( including Caitlin Johnson and yourself, Henry) religiously delude themselves into believing that you can have a state without war. And here you all are, religiously deluding yourselves once again (and complaining about the unavoidable result of your religion,that is, war, to boot !)

What's the latest cryptic - FAFO - Fuck Around And Find Out - every person in the military I consider the Undead. They wouldn't consider not having war. QUIT HELPING THEM - Proud Mother Of A Marine, that's the best you can do as a parent? Feed the war machine with the fruit of your loins? G.I.Joe is the IDF. Your heroes don't wear camouflage - they are killers. Dropping bombs on people is cowardice. Sniping people and blowing things up are not a skill to be celebrated.
When I hear of young person joining the military, like I was taught dealing with drug addicts, consider them dead. Stop communication. Start grieving now because when the news comes it will be easier to take. I know this to be true. I don't talk to people in uniform, polite enough to get away from them.
Repeat these thoughts to your family and friends. Then live alone.
