Let's face it, Hoffa was a thug. There isn't much to celebrate, brute force worked - for a while. He gave the pension plan to Red Dorfman and Assoc. and they built Las Vegas with it. You can tell a lot about a man by the fruit of his service. It's only the titillating, peep show Hollyweird that brings back the war stories. Business was business. Same as it is done today. Sometimes people disappear, that's part of the Business, too. Remember the comptroller at Enron, Cliff Baxter, shot himself in the back of his head sitting in his car? And Gary Webb, determined to commit suicide, shot himself in the head TWICE with a .45. Don't even begin to talk about Epstein... It's Business and the Collector comes. Same as it is done today.

Does anyone entertain the idea he faked his death to escape the life he created for himself? It seems that happens more than one might expect.

Some shallow and chauvinistic working people certainly got the impression Labor was strong through arrogant thuggery. Some still hold to the tactic in the battle with Capital. Hoffa merged and put in Trusteeship, meaning took over the Treasury of many, many locals, regardless of the democratically elected officers. He was a sledge hammer to any rank and file voice. The tough guy shit went everywhere, most damaging to the Teamsters as a whole.

There were bigger piece of shit Teamster presidents. Dave Beck, what a crook. Tobin screwed Farrell Dobbs and the Dunne brothers in MN. Wasn't Williams bribing US Senators? All time greatest POS Award goes to Jackie Presser. No movie could do him justice. No one ever mis-spent more hard earned working class money more frivolously with such grandeur as JP.

This kind of mobster glorification bullshit film will probably get his dead beat son reelected by the brain dead working class of IBT. Doing labor reporting in the 90's, I was video documenting Teamster for a Democratic Union election campaigns in L.705 and the buzz around Ron Carey, an actual labor leader who directed a strike against the distribution system (UPS) of Big Business under the watchful eye of a government oversight committee. He was threat and Carey was brought down with an internal snitch, similar to what is happening on Capital Hill today. I was always amazed by the lure of the Hoffa legacy and how many members wanted Jr. for no other reason than his name. TDU would be presenting an honest, hard working candidate, capable and willing (Carey, a prime example) - and the members distrusted him or her - instead went for the mobster mindset. Union dues are vigorish for your protection, really quite easy to see. I believe working people have gotten more fearful, helpless, heartless and slave minded since then. They just want to hide behind the biggest bully, as most Americans do. It's the thinking that puts the blue collar Rust Belt voter behind Donald Trump.

Watch the recent PBS Frontline, their report states that in 10 years, 50% of present day jobs will be replaced by a robot or AI, truck drivers included. Robots don't mail-in their ballots for Teamster President.

The working class through Hoffa and other institutional schmucks have let workplace power slip away.

Voters on Tuesday defeated State Question 832 which would have gradually increased the minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2029 with additional increases based on the cost of living.

French dock workers block arms shipment to Israel

Stevedores in Fos-sur-Mer outside Marseille refused to load machine gun components destined for Israel. Their union said the move made clear its refusal to 'participate in the ongoing genocide orchestrated by the Israeli government.'

French dock workers block arms shipment to Israel

French dock workers at a southern port are blocking the shipment of military equipment bound for Israel in protest at Israeli actions against Palestinians in Gaza, their union said. The stevedores at the port in Fos-sur-Mer outside Marseille have refused to load crates of links used to assist the rapid fire of bullets aboard the cargo vessel, the CGT trade union said.

Links are small metal pieces used to connect machine gun bullets, allowing for rapid bursts of fire. There has been concern in media and among rights groups that they have likely been used against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Christophe Claret, leader of the dock workers in the port, said they had been notified that the ship was due to be loaded on Thursday with the equipment. "We managed to identify it and set it aside," he told Agence France-Presse (AFP), emphasizing that once dockers refuse to load a shipment, no one else can do it for them. The other containers for the ship will all be loaded.

According to the union, the cargo is 19 pallets of links manufactured by the Marseille-based company Eurolinks. The CGT said the move made clear its refusal to "participate in the ongoing genocide orchestrated by the Israeli government." Leading rights groups have accused Israel of committing genocide in its military campaign, a charge vehemently rejected by the government.

DJT took the ball and ran it through the middle of the line to score a big impression to the Average Joe and Joeess in the service industry.  It's work where exceptional attitude and performance is rewarded.  If your wait staff server is young, they will have the attention span of a goldfish.  They will never get your order correct, a fate in life I have learned to live with the last five years.  I will still tip if their attitude is buoyant, or even pleasant.  So many miserable people in the service industry, I don't reward them.  Bartenders are as surly as their customers.

Let's face it, only a fool reports cash money.  That's the reason to tip, an act of working class kindness skirting the System, the Man, the IRS.  Subsidizing the International Conglomerate USA employer they are yoked to is not my motivation.  Taxing gratuities and tips for honest service never added up to much in the US Treasury.  Congress borrows money, that is what they do. Don't give the G your money in anyway, shape or form, but don't go to jail.  Give cash, if you do tip.

A unanimous vote of the floor of Congress should be noticed. The AFL CIO hasn't delivered on a single job site issue in fucking forever and Donald Trump today eats the whole cake in front of working class America.  Not a single 'union' can claim victory in this struggle of getting G out of your working life.  It's meager, it's peanuts in the Big Picture.  And it will be the last Labor stand, a Ghost Dance of sorts, as long as the Don is around. The radio announces layoffs every day. When The Boss decides you are extra weight on his company balloon, you are tossed overboard. No one 'loses' their job, by and large, your job is violently taken away from you in every instance. Toughen up, Sally. This is the system you hold dear. You are not creating capital more than you are taking home.

I don't like to say it, but Trump is The Boss. He's the Chief Executive. At its core government employment creates NO capital. Every employee is a drain on the working capital taken from the hides of the people. Government doesn't need 'workers'. Its workforce consists of 'agents' in an agency that fines, punishes or imprison those that don't go along with the program. If it comes to manual labor the slave kind is preferred. A skeletal staff of trades people to keep the lights on and maintain the property is needed, but not too many.

Wherever in this Grand Ole USofA, the State is your biggest employer from Mr. Kimble the Federal Agriculture Specialist to the lady at DMV to the county snowplow driver. In a country 'of the people, by the people and for the people' (supposedly) why aren't those jobs being held by everyone? The one-time State representative gets to put his nephew on a lifetime job with benefits and a pension. It isn't merit that gets these assignments. These jobs are sold, these jobs are held by someone beholden to the person that got them the job. In Chicago we used the phrase, "Who’s his Chinaman?" For some, it's Obama.

May I bring up an old idea I think brilliant? The timing couldn't be more perfect. Why not have all government jobs (Fed State and County, Municipal) be filled by individual tax-paying citizens in four-year terms? Apply for the job that fits your skills or learn a trade during that time and then be released into the private sector after your employment ends. As it stands now, the Federal government has a workforce with a sizable number of potentially treasonous employees whose 'lifetime' jobs are being threatened. A fluid workforce will discourage such a situation.

It's a high-falutin concept in some heads already being ripped to shreds as they read this. Or finding a specialty clause or entitlement due to them and the half dozen like them. People can find the work that gets them back on their feet, learn some kind of skill, if only, to learn to show up on time. A ditch digger would have ditch to dig for four years. The contractor's backhoe can take a break. There seems to be plenty of IT work, wouldn't it be good to train others in that magic? Maybe not, wouldn't want them to get too smart.

Four-year contracts. Enlist for work. Plenty of work to go around.

I heard an NPR radio report that Florida and its wannabe Antichrist, Governor Ron DeSantis, eliminated, decertified, legislated out of existence the 43,000 strong public sector workers unions. It had an interview with the President of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (me, being a Electricus Emeritus, quite proud) and he said, and I quote; "There's nothing we can do." That will go in the drawer along with "My hands are tied", "That's just the way it is.", "Just thank God you got a job.", and the old evergreen, "I'll get back to you." Union leadership finally speaks publicly.

Many people have figured out, Staughton Lynd for example, that “workers" have more rights organizing as a 501(c)(3) social club than being in a AFL-CIO affiliated union. This is a unique opportunity for radical labor activists within the locals to quit kissing ass to the existing bureaucracy and form a group that improves their jobsite. The Club has nothing to do with your job, regardless of the fact 99% of the membership also work together in their "free" time. You are free to associate voluntarily, and yes, cry me a river, you are going to have to pay your dues personally. The group isn’t bogged down by bi-partisan Taft/Hartley and Landrum/Griffin regulation. Imagine telling your membership to vote forever-the-hell they want to vote for.

State workers are the Aristocracy of Fabor (false labor). I'm not the only one resentful of these people never missing a paycheck during the entire COVID hysteria. There was nothing to do, there was no paper to shuffle. A skeleton crew could have kept things going for three years and the scissorbills cashed every check while their neighbors’ lives were economically destroyed by The State. State workers are paid prevailing wage, and they collect while the private economy works to eliminate union jobs. They don't deserve that wage 52 weeks a year, in so many ways. Greedy bastards without backbone or heart, nothing new.

In decaying, decrepit Cuba Libre, there is no private economy. You are a slave for the State. That's your Union. The Polish Communists said, "If they pretend to pay us, we'll pretend to work."

I did an interesting interview with a founding member of the United Farm Workers (UFW) and later involved with the forming of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) for public workers in the State of California when Reagan was Governor. He claimed the politicians were all for collective bargaining. They saw it as way to shed over-ambitious administrative assistants, lawyers, left-brain managerial type people (lefties?) they didn't have jobs for anymore or wanted removed from staff without hard feeling. Ensuring the current politician’s political fiefdom, dispensing jobs and favors was their motivation. SEIU was an extension of management from the start. SEIU in California is The State.

Parents, be good teachers. If your child needs a good teacher outside the home, my bet is that teacher won't belong to an AFL-CIO affiliated union.

If you are working at a company involved in a labor strike, you are in a dying industry. It's in death throes, never to recover. It's time to seriously think about a change of direction in your life. It doesn't matter what side of the issue you are on. It's stark, the employer wants your body, the union wants your mind. Add a little spirit and keep both for yourself.

There are show campaigns with no expectation to succeed, Starbuck's baristas, for instance. The point is to discourage organization. Labor unions are only 'allowed' by business and government (B + G does not = F).  They need L to make F complete. 

  There are no free, democratic trade unions in Cuba, a Communist country. In the early 90's it was saved from mass starvation by Monsanto and genetic modified crops. A 'soviet' is a trade union. With Wall Street backing, the Bolsheviks insisted on piece work to revitalize the economy after the Revolution. (G + B + L = F).  Hitler, on the Night of The Long Knives, assassinated the dissenters within local unions. That act petrified the membership and left the leadership intact to work with the Reich. The Berlin Strasse and public buildings are one example of a G-run jobs program. (G + B + L = F)

His government was  defined as a merging of corporation and government. "We Don't Complain" the working-class slogan of the day, the same as today. The radicals bleat, "Give Us Bigger Crumbs" is met with "Just thank God you have a job" your labor leader informs the membership. He's a lackey for your employer, not a representative, but you pay his salary. 'Business Agent' says it all.

In construction there are Project Labor Agreements (PLA), sometimes a 50 yr contract, as in the Deep Tunnel, O'Hare Airport or public works projects around Chicago. Once they released you from employment, the employer doesn't need a reason to hire you back. Construction jobs are temporary, if these jobs are the only game in town, a worker beefing about job conditions doesn't stand a chance. The blacklist union-made is formed. The farm animals go to work. (G + B + L = F)

Fascism is the end result of these scenarios. Labor doesn't care who pays or what it creates, Government must borrow money, and Business exploits. These are mere marionettes to the puppet masters pulling the strings, all mingling together in a technology spider web.

A recent comment accused me of being indifferent about my "fellow workers". I stand guilty. They don't stand up for themselves, I'm not sticking my head out of the foxhole in class warfare. These people I'm supposedly "fighting" for are happy slaves and have no interest or reason in following my indoctrinated, brainwashed brain. I don't blame them. Stay in the middle of the road dressed in camouflage with your mask on will have you survive another day. Putting yourself out there, "fighting" the good fight, is social suicide. I'm a living example.

In 2000, the Communist Party met in Durban, South Africa in conclave. The decision was made to change direction in the endless seeking of division, agitation, and created tension. The Reds decided to abandon its core policy of trade unions being the vanguard of the revolution. I guess they figured out the West’s ‘happy wage slave' union philosophy was indominable. People just don't like unions, and some have good reasons why, but generally unions have raised the standard of living for one generation, mine. The next be damned.

They decided, or were told, that the destruction of capitalist society was to be achieved by promoting sexual dyspepsia. Endless strife has occurred in every Western institution by aggressive homosexual promotion, transvestitism, and most awful, genital mutilation, abortion and blood drinking to achieve happiness. Influence genders/s bitterly fighting. These planned social actions, along with narcotic drug importation, would implant severe mental illness and confusion in the body politic. 23 years later, one can see the plan is working.

Totalitarian countries don't allow any of this type of behavior. In Cuba, internal drug dealers go to prison and never return. The Vlad, Putin, denounces the decadent West weekly, while actively leading and funding the destruction. Spoken like a true, lying Commie. In Islam, being gay will get your head chopped off. They love doing that sort of thing. In China, the firing squad is your end. In America, the media implies our happiness is met by sucking each other’s cocks and getting fucked up. The rest of the world values a good honest days' work.

Capitalism and Communism have one thing in common: They both love slave labor.

Government is a trap. Any attachment to your local union, association, or social club taints your existence, makes you a part of and junior partner to your oppressor. You are embracing your 'civil rights', meaning you are allowing someone outside your conclave to dictate policy in your organization. Even the term 'Independent Trade Union' is suspect. Just exactly to whom are they in dependence? A larger organization? And they are in dependence to someone, too?

It is interesting to watch American society organically enact a General Strike. Nobody wants to work for a wage in 2023 because; a) it's easier to go on the dole or disability and live without the stress b) the 'unions' gave my contemporaries pension plans, so now we sit on our fat asses and watch television for a living, if the stock market bubble doesn't burst. c) the younger generation can't add/subtract three-digit numerals, can't read cursive, or tell what time it is without their cell phones. d) workplaces across the land are gossipy, little hellholes. The strike is not because of the inaction of AFL-CIO, a non-government quasi-government agency, like CDC.

One must love what they are doing at productive work, or it's painful drudgery. The overall unproductive, draining, segment of society is the majority. More than 50% of the population of California is receiving a government check, and drugging and fucking BTW, along with the entire West Coast. The government solves all social problems by borrowing more money from yet a larger, and obviously, a more powerful organization.

Totally un- sustainable, to use a NWO term. They have plans for us serfs, and it ain't good.

In Hawaii, 100's of my fellow workers are still in vaporized solidarity. How, why? - where is the outrage? People are indifferent. What's the crime?

AA+ DOESN'T WORK

My whole working life was clouded by Affirmative Action. The only positive I got out of it was allowing the black guys fuck it all up and I'd go in on premium time to fix it.

Affirmative Action (AA+) is a quota system. The only way to do it is with numbers. Numbers don't lie. After 40 years, dumb black people are still dumb. You need to know how to read and write to get into Harvard. The smart ones would have made it, regardless, and in many ways AA+ held them back. All the help in the world with the vast majority of, esp., urban black people, was a waste. So many are un-educatable. The Chicago Teachers Union is an easy target for vitriol, but the clay they are tasked to mold is rock hard. The teachers are demoralized spiritually. They know it. They have an impossible job. The police knew it, they quit and went to Arizona or Missouri with their early pensions. I don't blame them. AA+ destroyed the CPD, a public job, IMO, that must be based on merit. I've been told by a Lt. in the Chicago Fire Department that the black guys in the Firehouse don't ever put themselves at risk. They stand on the sidewalk with a hose and listen to the screams, he said. That's their choice.

The business world was corrupted even further by AA+. I saw it from the ground level. In public works, sealed bidding was destroyed at the taxpayers expense because the contractor would have to carry a minority "junior" contractor on the job. There is a black business mafia and it's always the same handful of guys at the top tied to the politicians. They quickly figured out how to make big money with such a "busing" solution to a non-existent problem.  As a 'partner', they would find a half-bright minority guy, set him up in business, pick up the payroll and provide the tools. He would be HNIC and it would quickly go to his head. He becomes a complete asshole terrorizing his employees making a difficult job dangerous. His 30% minority contractor, Wakanda Electric, works along with the rest, causing friction and petty fights on the job. Basically, they were there to fuck shit up by their stupidity and lack of common sense requiring the Contractor to fix the problem billing the State for 'extras'.  It became ouroboros, the snake eating it's tail. Along with the fact of featherbedding these mooks finding easy jobs for them that doesn't demand much thinking, many don't have a clue in what they are doing no matter serving an apprenticeship or how long in the trade. Someone has to pick their tab.

I want the Obama Center built with black tradespeople from Project Manager to Apprentice Trainee Assistant.  It would never get done.

Women are divisive. They do not belong in the trades, unless they do. Meaning, you get your respect by how you work on the job side by side. The neighboring local jurisdiction I often worked recruited from the Pink Slipper lesbian bar. Never had a problem with any of those gals. The ones who brought the donuts or insisted on a clean shithouse blew my skirt up. What do you think no one has ever howled to the General Contractor  about the dirty plastic shithouses before? And you get your own private lavatory with a lock and key, Princess?   Working along these complainiacs it's easy to discern their game is to find someone else to do their work. Their ambition is the clipboard and the ability to boss people around, which they don't do well. They are hard partners to carry, "got spurs on", we used to say. We'd try to share the load by passing her around on assignments Being a bitch boy is a long day, but one has to suck it up for the team. The key was to find the right BB for her. If a romance develops, nothing but personnel problems are ahead.

Affirmative Action was instigated by the social engineers of the University of Chicago who work for the People who rule over us. It was designed to divide the working class: Black vs. White, Men against Women, young opposing old on a day by day, hour by hour basis building resentment at the shop floor level, it only grows. I am a deep witness to that statement and can back it up fully with my life. A huge reason for the present day dis-organized labor is the result of AA+.

Don't look for help from any institution, they have all been corrupted, leafing down, top heavy with stupid people.

There isn't anyone special in this country. Getting the G to be your strongarm bully because you can't sell your case is cowardly. Similar to hiring someone to kill your wife.

There are an awful lot of people living comfortably (a cot and a squat) in this country who don't labor in any fashion. Can we make it 100%?

Google employees walked out for three days. It had an effect, I am told.

The airline industry is in percolating labor strife. It may be a planned op, a way to control travel. Why anyone would work in a germ infested tube with recirculating air is beyond me.

The government took over contract negotiations from the private railroad companies and jammed an agreement on the unions. That would be one living example of Fascism.

My electrical local had a pre-apprenticeship program. It was mostly to teach remedial math which had escaped the recruit during 12 years of public education.

Northwoods Labor Report: There are plenty of $10/hour jobs going unfilled up here. The service industry has an attitude. Heavy lifting is discouraged. Don't do much, there is not much to clean up. No man, woman or machine tells me what to do.

Labor strikes are manned by bored workers.

Most coverd labor story of the year it seems is organizing the baristas at Starbucks in New York City. Been there, done that 20 years ago with Daniel and Gino. Starbucks is dying, the ticks are feasting.

I must hand it to my old friends at Railroad Workers United (RWU).  It took them a few years but they sure caused a kerfluffle.  Enough so that the United States Senate enforced a "union" contract (as the reporters say) on the rail workers.  I wouldn't be surprised if many of RWU supporters thought they were negotiating with their employers.  The government does the contract negotiations while the private corporations get the massive profits?  There is a word for that and it begins with Fuck You. Benito... Benito... Benito Mussolini - Lalalalala  Lalalalalalala... made the trains run on time!

It's not Left vs. Right - It's the State vs. You, as it says on the back of my truck.  Do you think these workers, or any worker for that matter, get it now? Do they know who the enemy is?

Oh, they got it all right, the un-sanded not finished 4x4 right up the keyster. The US House of Commons graciously granted 7 paid sick days a year to the wage slaves, only for those days to be gutted out of the Senate (meaning the Railroad owners) version. They were given, maybe, an inflation adjusted raise.

I attended the first RWU Convention and worked with them in their baby steps.  Their issue then was driverless trains and the oil spill wreck in Quebec as a direct result. And, of course, their predictions of massive labor adjustments came true. 30% of the workforce isn't there today.  How can people not be workplace stressed? On top of on-call, always irregular hours  which was an issue so many years ago.  It doesn't convince me the railroad is a safe place to work or be around.

Railroad Workers 1/3 United  the long time bickering 12 different unions - craft, industrial, company - into a somewhat solidified block.  Now the 4 unions holding out will be identified as troublemakers and slowly disappeared out of the jobsite.  Stooges will take over, deplete their treasuries, collapse due to internal strife and be amalgamated into a more 'partner' union.  The take-what-we-can-get scissorbills will rule the day, at least for now.

Until we take my bumper sticker above seriously.

Cancel Culture has been around for a long time.  It’s called “being a bitch”.  The BITCH application goes for more than majority Men in the accusation, if I hazarded a guess, the same ratio as boys raised in single mothers’ environment.  In my present age group many long time married men talk just like their wives.  Same patter, same breathless gossip, same inane statements or he becomes part of the Mean Girls at the High School lunch room table crowd.  He may even watch Ellen.  There a plenty of them.

Now I go in the grocery store without a mask, of course.  I can sense the stare.  An old woman, short, masked up to the eyeballs, hasn’t had a drop of estrogen in her system for years intently sending by telepathy angry thoughts in my direction.  Too chicken shit to approach me and try to talk to me, it wouldn’t matter anyway.  I don’t talk to people in masks.  I don’t respect their self-loathing and being ashamed to show their beautiful God-given smile.  I’m showing my mug everywhere I go.   I’m glad to be alive, grateful to the Creator.  So be it.

Everyone talks “bitch”.  No one respects labor done, nor do they want to work.  They want to sit their fat asses in front of Facebook – being Bitch Central.  If you have an account, however self-justified, you are a Facebook Bitch.  Don’t want to miss anything, I just want to laugh someone’s’ misfortune, or call someone a name.  Just so interested in everyone else’s life, you don’t have one of your own. Shallow, no personality, in capable of having a discussion on anything like that affects them directly in daily life, the television tells them that part.  No solutions offered, the life stories come off like a litany of complaints – and it don’t quit. Chase the shiny thing, bitch.

I was in Sacramento for the Women’s March against Trump soon after the election (how’s that working out, girls?), the one with all the Pink Pussy devil horn hats.  It was a very angry event. Many women wore t-shirts or signs promoting Proud to be a Bitch, Bitch Goddess, and Don’t Mess with Me I’m A Bitch themes.   Sprinkle into the stage managed crowd throw in the man-hating Lesbian Avenging Warriors and shall I approach the subject of black women Bitchiness? There is a reason black men don’t stick around, does anyone but them realize living with a bitch is impossible?

As the wolf pack crosses the snowy plain, winter winds blow, nothing to prey upon, the internal signal within turns the wolves into a ferocious attack, all dive in and eat the Old Bitch, an unproductive member, a useless over eater, a drain of resources from the whole.

This project  (MGTOW, ews) was pretty easy to compose, because unlike serial killers, it is based on a growing truth. The projects of the past 50 years—all under the Project Chaos umbrella—have succeeded in making both men and women into assholes. I think we can all admit that. A growing segment of the population is intolerable, especially among the youth. That could be reversed, but the governors don't want to reverse it. They want to accelerate it. They don't want anyone polite, well mannered, thoughtful, educated, or stable. They want everyone needy, dopey, thoughtless, fat, lazy, and selfish. So now when the times comes for creating division, it is very easy for them. People have become so unappealing, no one can stand to be around them except their dogs—and even their dogs would prefer to be somewhere else. 

... This is why conversation has died out. It has been targeted on purpose. Yes, people still yap, but for the most part they are just repeating ideas that have been placed in their heads by the media. They are parroting movies or TV shows or government websites. If they argue, they parrot the arguments they have been fed. I dine out (cheaply) almost everyday, and I often listen to the conversations at tables around me. There is very little of it. Most people just sit there, semi-catatonic. The people that do talk have nothing to say. I can't remember the last time I eavesdropped on a serious conversation, or heard anyone say anything worth hearing. I catch people eavesdropping on my conversations all the time, which tells me they are desperate for content. They aren't happy with the way things are, and would welcome something else.

Let's face it, Hoffa was a thug.  There isn't much to celebrate, brute force worked - for a while. He gave the pension plan to Red Dorfman and Assoc. and they built Las Vegas with it.  You can tell a lot about a man by the fruit of his service.  It's only the titillating, peep show Hollyweird that brings back the war stories.  Business was business. Same as it is done today.  Sometimes people disappear, that's part of the Business, too.  Remember the comptroller at Enron, Cliff Baxter, shot himself in the back of his head sitting in his car? And Gary Webb, determined to commit suicide, shot himself in the head TWICE with a .45.  Don't even begin to talk about Epstein... It's Business and the Collector comes. Same as it is done today.

Does anyone entertain the idea he faked his death to escape the life he created for himself?  It seems that happens more than one might expect.

Some shallow and chauvinistic working people certainly got the impression Labor was strong through arrogant thuggery.  Some still hold to the tactic in the battle with Capital.  Hoffa merged and put in Trusteeship, meaning took over the Treasury of many, many locals, regardless of the democratically elected officers.  He was a sledge hammer to any rank and file voice. The tough guy shit went everywhere, most damaging to the Teamsters as a whole.

There were bigger piece of shit Teamster presidents.  Dave Beck, what a crook.  Tobin screwed Farrell Dobbs and the Dunne brothers in MN.  Wasn't Williams bribing US Senators? All time greatest POS Award goes to Jackie Presser.  No movie could do him justice. No one ever mis-spent more hard-earned working-class money more frivolously with such grandeur as JP.

This kind of mobster glorification bullshit film will probably get his dead-beat son reelected by the brain dead working class of IBT.  Doing labor reporting in the 90's, I was video documenting Teamster for a Democratic Union election campaigns in L.705 and the buzz around Ron Carey, an actual labor leader who directed a strike against the distribution system (UPS) of Big Business under the watchful eye of a government oversight committee.  He was threat and Carey was brought down with an internal snitch, similar to what is happening on Capital Hill today.   I was always amazed by the lure of the Hoffa legacy and how many members wanted Jr. for no other reason than his name.  TDU would be presenting an honest, hard working candidate,  capable and willing (Carey, a prime example) - and the members distrusted him or her - instead went for the mobster mindset.  Union dues are vigorish for your protection, really quite easy to see.  I believe working people have gotten more fearful, helpless, heartless and slave minded since then. They just want to hide behind the biggest bully, as most Americans do.  It's the thinking that puts the blue collar Rust Belt voter behind Donald Trump.

Watch the recent PBS Frontline, their report states that in 10 years, 50% of present day jobs will be replaced by a robot or AI, truck drivers included.  Robots don't mail-in their ballots for Teamster President.

The working class through Hoffa and other institutional schmucks have let workplace power slip away.

They were never Labor, never leaders.
