An 18-time convicted felon stabbed a CTA bus driver in the hand after the transit worker confronted him about stealing another passenger’s wallet on a bus in Old Town, prosecutors said Sunday.

Police are investigating three armed robberies that unfolded in about an hour early Sunday in Lakeview. In one case, the offenders even took the victim’s shoes.

A 60-year-old man is in critical condition after someone opened fire on his car as he drove in the Irving Park neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.

Prosecutors have charged an 18-year-old man with participating in a mass shooting that left two teenagers dead and three other people injured this summer.

Two men were shot, a car flipped over, and bullets flew into the windows of a tavern and a condo during a chaotic shooting early Sunday in River North.
