I'm writing this post only because I've always done a recap at the end of December. The blog has not been satisfying to me although pageviews have been growing. The more attention I get, the more lonely I become. Twenty thousands hits a month and not a single response. I have not gotten a rational or well-meaning email to any of my posts in years. As far as I'm concerned, Google has put this blog on a shelf and they make up numbers for my amusement.
